Fares are metered, so price depends on traffic, but the short 7–8 km run into central Queenstown generally costs more than the bus and less than arranging a private driver. If you’re splitting with two or three people and luggage, the cost per person often compares well against the public transport fare.
Rideshare services such as Uber and Ola usually pick up in a signed rideshare zone outside the terminal, a 1–3 minute walk from arrivals.
