Gate A2 bagels when you just need something fast

Einstein Bros Bagels sits right by Gate A2 in the Main terminal, past security, so you can grab food on the walk to American and Breeze departures. It’s a standard Einstein lineup: egg sandwiches, bagels with cream cheese, coffee, and a few pastries. Expect basic airport pricing, with most breakfast sandwiches landing in the $6–$9 range and drip coffee around $3–$4.

They open early enough to catch the first XNA bank, typically around 4:30–5:00 a.m., and run through the afternoon, though hot items can dwindle after the morning rush. If you care about freshness, get there before 9:00 a.m.; that’s when the bagels taste closest to what you’d see at an off-airport shop. Later in the day, you’re mostly looking at reheats and what’s left in the case.

Best bets: a simple bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel, or a plain bagel with shmear if you’re trying to keep it under $6. Coffee is serviceable and faster than waiting at a sit-down spot in Main. If you’re tight on time for a flight out of A2–A4, this is the quickest hot breakfast you’ll find within a 2-minute walk.

Practical tip: lines spike about 30 minutes before each early-morning departure wave, so if your boarding pass says 6:00 a.m., hit Einstein Bros by 5:15 a.m. or you’ll be sprinting to your seat with a lukewarm sandwich.
