Main $$$$ Post-security

Day passes, real food, and a quieter corner of XNA

Escape Lounges sits post-security in XNA’s Main terminal and runs on a pay-per-use model, so think day pass instead of free airport seating. This is the spendier option at the airport, in the $$$ tier, but you trade gate noise for softer lighting, more spaced-out seating, and staff keeping things tidied up. It’s marketed as a relaxation lounge, not a restaurant, so you’re paying mainly for space, Wi‑Fi, and included food and drink in one package.

The lounge sits airside after security in the Main terminal, so you clear TSA once and stay inside the secure zone. That matters at XNA, where there’s only this single terminal; you don’t burn time transferring between concourses. Figure the lounge as your base within walking distance of all Main gates, handy if you’re on American, Delta, or United and plan to stay put near the central corridor until boarding starts.

Pricing runs at the higher end for XNA, roughly in the $$$ range, but that covers lounge entry instead of paying item by item at the terminal food court. Compared with a sit-down meal and a couple of drinks in the Main terminal, the math can work out if you’ll spend more than 90 minutes inside and actually use the buffet, soft drinks, and coffee setup. If you only have a 30‑minute layover, the cost lands harder.

Escape Lounges markets itself first as a relaxation space, then as a food stop, so set expectations accordingly. Seating, power outlets, and quieter corners come first; any hot dishes or snacks are a bonus layered on top of that entry fee. Because it’s post-security and inside the Main terminal only, it’s really aimed at passengers already checked in and past TSA, not meeters and greeters in the public lobby.

Tip: This lounge only sits airside in XNA’s Main terminal, so build at least 60 minutes before departure if you want to justify the $$$ access fee and still walk to your gate without rushing.
