Gate-side books and gifts right in Terminal A

Zoom sits in Terminal A at Warsaw Chopin, airside after security, and runs daily from 05:00 to 21:00. It’s the standard airport mix: paperbacks, magazines, last-minute souvenirs, and some kids’ items you can throw into a carry-on. Think quick grab before a LOT or Wizz Air boarding call, not a long browse.

Book prices land above city-center rates, but not outrageous for WAW; expect a typical paperback to run a few euro more than in town. You’ll find English-language bestsellers, Polish titles, and some travel guides focused on Warsaw and Kraków. If you need a guidebook before a short layover into Schengen, this is the easiest place to get one without leaving Terminal A.

On the souvenir side, Zoom stocks fridge magnets, keyrings, mugs, and small boxes of Polish chocolates, mostly under the €15 range. Packaging is carry-on friendly and sized to fit under-seat bags for LOT regional flights. Skip anything breakable if you still have a tight connection through another EU airport, as the protective wrapping here is minimal.

No consistent complaints stand out for Zoom at WAW, but it’s a small footprint and gets cramped around the 07:00–09:00 morning departure bank. One practical move: if you care about language options, scan the book spines from the aisle before stepping fully in, so you don’t get stuck in the narrow middle when a boarding call hits.
