Next to the A-gates, Wittchen is the stop for Polish leather
This Wittchen in Terminal A sits past security, on the Schengen side, so you can shop right up until boarding. It’s a mid-size boutique focused on leather goods and accessories, not suitcases or electronics. Expect neatly lined walls of belts, wallets, small bags and passport covers, with seasonal promos advertised at the entrance.
Prices run mid-to-high: small leather wallets often land around 150–250 PLN, with larger handbags and briefcases quickly jumping past 400–600 PLN. Quality is solid for the price point, and it feels more “gift from Poland” than generic duty free. You’ll also see sunglasses, gloves and keychains if you just want a small, last-minute present.
Stock skews toward classic browns and blacks, plus a few brighter colors each season. Sizes on belts and gloves can sell out in common ranges, especially before evening bank departures around 17:00–20:00. Staff usually speak English and can shorten belts on the spot, so say what suit size or jeans waist you wear and let them match it.
Most items ring up tax-free automatically for non‑EU passengers if your ticket shows an onward flight outside Schengen the same day. Keep the receipt and the original packaging for customs on arrival. If you’re on a tight connection, walk past the perfumes and chocolate and head directly to the leather briefcases wall; you’ll be in and out in under 10 minutes.
