Open past midnight in Terminal A landside
Late flight out of Warsaw? This Subway in Terminal A sits before security and keeps serving subs until around 00:00, while most other spots in the terminal close earlier. Officially it lists 24h hours, but airport guides and flyers report more realistic operating times of roughly 04:30–00:00, which still covers most red-eyes and delayed departures.
Prices sit at the low end for WAW: expect classic Subway footlongs in the 20–30 PLN range, plus drinks and cookies that won’t wreck a short layover budget. It’s marked as fast food · sandwiches, so think build-your-own bread, basic veggies, and sauces, not a sit-down meal with table service. The big upside is predictable pricing compared with some airside cafés that jump to 40+ PLN for a basic sandwich.
The shop is landside, so you can use it both on departure and on arrival, or while waiting to check in for a long-haul at the A counters. There’s an upstairs seating area above the counter, useful if the main floor gets crowded during the morning rush around 05:00–07:00. If you’re tight on time, you can also just grab a 6-inch and drink and walk it over to security.
Menu is the standard global Subway lineup: think tuna, BLT, chicken teriyaki, and veggie, with the usual white/wheat bread options. No strong pattern from regulars or complaints in forums yet, which usually means expectations align with reality: it’s exactly the same sandwich you’d get in town. If you want something warm, ask them to toast it; if you’re boarding in under 20 minutes, stick to cold options so you’re not juggling hot sauce at the gate.
Tip: If you care more about a proper meal than early boarding, order here before security and carry your sub through; airside food in A shrinks noticeably after about 22:00.
