Premium Food Gate

A

Gate A concourse is where you find Premium Food Gate in Terminal A.

This spot sits airside in the Schengen part of Warsaw Chopin’s Terminal A, handy if your flight departs from the A gates and you want a sit-down option before boarding. It’s a standard terminal restaurant setup: host stand, mix of tables and bar seats, all a short walk from multiple LOT Polish Airlines departures.

Premium Food Gate runs through the main daytime bank of flights, typically opening in the morning and staying active into the evening rush in Terminal A. Expect higher airport pricing: simple mains often land in the 40–70 PLN range, with soft drinks usually around 10–15 PLN and coffee in the 12–18 PLN band, depending on size and style.

The menu leans toward straightforward European airport fare: breakfast plates in the early hours, sandwiches and burgers around lunch, and hot mains for dinner, all geared to the Schengen crowd flowing through A gates. You’ll normally find at least one meat-focused dish, a pasta or salad option, and standard bar snacks that work with a quick beer before a 2–3 hour intra‑EU hop.

Service pace matches volume; during the 06:00–09:00 and late‑afternoon departure peaks in Terminal A, food can take longer than the 15–20 minutes you might expect from a quieter period. Staff are used to tight turns and will usually flag if your order risks cutting it close for a boarding time within 30 minutes.

Cards are widely accepted here, and prices post in PLN even if your ticket is in EUR or USD, so factor in a bit of exchange spread from your bank. If your gate is at the far end of A, check the screens before sitting down: leave yourself at least 15 minutes to walk from Premium Food Gate to the more remote A gates at the tip of the concourse.
