Gate A area is where you’ll find Pizza Dominium at WAW
Pizza Dominium sits airside in Terminal A, handy if your Schengen flight departs from the central A gates and you want something hot that isn’t a packaged sandwich. It’s a sit-down pizzeria-style spot, so factor in at least 25–30 minutes if you’re tight on time. You order at the counter, then food comes to your table, which works fine for 60–90 minute layovers.
Menu is straightforward: individual pizzas, pasta, and a few salads, all more substantial than the grab-and-go stands near gates A10–A24. Expect pizzas in the 30–45 PLN range and soft drinks around 8–10 PLN, which is standard airport pricing for Warsaw. Portions run medium, so one pizza feeds one hungry adult without much left over.
Pizza styles lean classic: margherita, pepperoni-style options, and Polish-favorite combos with ham and mushrooms. If you want to keep it simple, stick to margherita or a cheese-and-ham option; those rotate fastest and usually land fresher out of the oven. Pasta can sit a bit, so only order it if you see several plates coming out back-to-back within 5–10 minutes.
Service is typical for Terminal A full-service spots: you queue to order, then wait around 10–15 minutes for a pizza during normal daytime traffic. At evening banks when LOT departures cluster between 17:00 and 20:00, that wait can push closer to 20 minutes. Seating is open to the concourse, so you can keep an eye on nearby gate boards while you eat.
Tip: if your gate prints on your boarding pass as A20 or higher, sit on the concourse-facing side of Pizza Dominium so you can spot any last-minute gate change on the main departures screen without getting up.
