Upper mezzanine in Terminal A means Misa is easy to miss
On the mezzanine above Terminal A’s main hall, Misa runs 06:00 to 21:00 and feels more like a city restaurant than an airport food court counter. It sits landside, before security, so it works for early meet-ups with arriving passengers or a proper meal before you clear checks for a Schengen or non‑Schengen departure.
This is one of the few sit‑down spots at WAW that actually leans into Polish food: think pierogi, soups, meat dishes and cakes, generally in the mid‑range $$ bracket rather than fast‑food prices. Portions tend to be full‑meal size, so a plate of dumplings and a drink usually runs less than you’d pay past security for two grab‑and‑go sandwiches.
Because Misa closes at 21:00, it’s not a solution for the late LOT banks that depart closer to 23:00 from Terminal A. If your flight leaves after 21:30 and you want a hot meal, eat here first, then head through security and treat anything airside as a snack stop only.
Service is sit‑down rather than counter pickup, which matters if you land hungry at 06:15 or show up with luggage at 18:30 and want a normal table, cutlery, and a proper plate of Polish food. Expect a slower pace than the chains downstairs, so build in at least 45 minutes for ordering, eating, and paying, especially in the 07:00–09:00 and 17:00–19:00 peaks.
The mezzanine location above the main check‑in area keeps it a bit calmer than the ground‑level chains where every LOT economy line spills out. Stairs and elevators from the Terminal A public area lead up; you can spot Misa’s sign once you pass the central check‑in islands.
Tip: if you want a sit‑down Polish meal but still need to check bags for a Terminal A flight, check in first, then head up to Misa so you’re already free to walk straight to security when you finish.
