McDonald's

A Open · 05:00-22:00

Opens at 05:00 when almost nothing else in A does

Terminal A’s McDonald’s runs roughly 05:00–22:00, so it catches the first wave of departures at Warsaw Chopin. If you land from an early LOT or Ryanair hop and need food before city cafés wake up, this is one of the few hot options. It sits airside in Terminal A, so this is for checked‑in passengers, not greeters on the public side.

Prices run higher than downtown Warsaw, but still predictable for a European airport: think standard McMenu combos rather than premium lounge pricing. You get the usual Big Mac, McChicken, and fries line‑up, plus breakfast items in the morning window. Coffee here is often faster than some smaller stands in A during the 06:00–08:00 bank.

The key advantage is seating: this McDonald’s has its own indoor tables instead of just a counter. That matters at WAW, where a lot of outlets spill into generic food‑court chairs with limited space around busy Schengen gates. If you need 30–40 minutes to plug in, eat, and answer email before boarding, this is an easier base than grabbing a sandwich by the gate.

Quality is standard McDonald’s Poland: consistent, salty, and exactly what you expect after a 2–3 hour flight. Go for the McRoyal or chicken sandwiches plus fries; skip anything that feels like a “local special” if you’re in a rush, as those rotate and can run out by late evening. It’s a solid backup when lounge food in A is underwhelming or crowded.

Tip: if your flight boards from a remote stand, grab your McDonald’s 30 minutes before boarding time; walking back from Terminal A’s food cluster to the bus gates can easily eat 10–15 minutes once queues build.
