Gate-side caffeine fix in Terminal A

Inmedio Cafe sits in Terminal A at Warsaw Chopin Airport, useful if your Schengen flight boards from the A gates and you just need coffee and something quick. It’s a basic grab-and-go setup rather than a sit-down restaurant, so think pastries, packaged snacks, and bottled drinks more than hot meals. Prices run higher than city cafes, but normal for WAW: expect around 12–18 PLN for espresso-based drinks and 8–15 PLN for a croissant or sweet pastry.

The cafe operates through the main daytime bank of departures in Terminal A, generally from early morning to late evening when most LOT and Schengen flights run. It’s past security, so you can’t access it from landside once you’ve checked in late. If you land early on a 06:00–07:00 arrival, it’s one of the first spots to be open for a coffee before the rest of the terminal wakes up.

Food is simple: wrapped sandwiches, prepacked salads, chocolate bars, chips, and pastries in the 8–25 PLN range. This is more “fill the gap before boarding LO3xx to Western Europe” than a full meal. If you want something more substantial or hot, plan to eat at another restaurant in Terminal A before you get too close to your gate, then use Inmedio for a last drink or snack top-up.

Drinks cover espresso, cappuccino, latte, soft drinks, water, and usually a few juices. Coffee quality is fine for airport standards, not specialty-level, and sizes run small-to-medium compared with US airports. Figure on 0.5 L water at roughly 6–8 PLN and soft drinks slightly higher. Card payments are standard; keep a backup card in case your first one has issues with contactless.

Tip: lines spike about 30–40 minutes before the big LOT Europe departures bank in Terminal A, so grab your coffee right after clearing security instead of waiting for the boarding call.
