Costa Coffee

A Open · 05:00-22:00

Multiple Costa Coffee spots keep WAW caffeinated almost all day

You’ll see Costa Coffee in several places at Warsaw Chopin Airport, with branches both landside and airside in Terminal A. There’s a standard café on the arrivals level 0 and another in the Schengen departures area, plus a related 24-hour Costa Fresco / Fly Dining concept elsewhere in the terminal. The main Costa outlets run roughly 05:00–22:00, which covers most departures out of WAW.

Post-security in the Schengen zone, Costa works as the “safe bet” caffeine stop before boarding. Expect standard chain pricing for Poland: a latte or cappuccino usually lands in the mid-range for the airport, more than downtown Warsaw but normal for airside. Food is the usual Costa mix: pastries, cakes, sandwiches, and panini that get the job done if you skipped breakfast on the way to Terminal A.

Landside, the arrivals-level branch on level 0 is useful if you reach WAW early, need to meet someone, or want a sit-down coffee before check-in opens. Hours run from 05:00 to 22:00 here as well, so a 06:00 departure or a mid-evening pickup is covered. Seats can go fast in the morning rush when several LOT and low-cost flights leave around the same time, so factor in a few extra minutes if you want a table.

The 24-hour Costa Fresco / Fly Dining variant is worth knowing about if you land in Warsaw on a late LOT or Wizz Air arrival after 23:00. Coffee quality is chain-standard, not third‑wave specialty, but it beats vending machines when you’re staring down a red‑eye or a long wait for an early train. Use Costa for caffeine and quick carbs; save your expectations for food and atmosphere for the city center once you’re out of Terminal A.

Tip: If your flight leaves before 07:00, plan on Costa in the Schengen area after security rather than banking on smaller stands near the more remote gates.
