Gate-side in Terminal A, Business Shark sits right in the Schengen departures area at Warsaw Chopin (WAW).
Business Shark lives in Terminal A after security, so it works for most Schengen flights out of WAW. You can walk here from security in under 5 minutes, and it’s easier to sit down here than at the tiny coffee stands closer to some A-gates. Layout is simple: a central bar, a ring of tables, and direct views of the main passenger flow so you don’t lose track of boarding.
Pricing runs higher than central Warsaw, as usual for an airport: expect around 35–45 PLN for basic snacks and 20–30 PLN for coffee or soft drinks. Beer, wine, and simple mixed drinks in the 20–35 PLN range show up on most current menus. It’s table service, but staff usually handle payment at the counter too, which saves a minute if you’re tight on time.
Food leans to airport-safe basics: sandwiches, burgers, salads, and bar bites, with several items premade in chilled displays. If you want something quick before an early LOT departure in Terminal A, focus on cold items they can hand over in under 5 minutes. Hot dishes can take 15–20 minutes in busier evening waves, especially during the 17:00–20:00 bank of European flights.
Drinks are the safer bet here. A standard espresso or Americano usually lands in under 5 minutes, and draft beer is even faster if the bar isn’t slammed. It’s one of the few seated spots in Terminal A where you can have a beer and still watch the main departure screens without getting up every few minutes. Power outlets are scattered along the wall seats but not at every table.
Tip: ask for the bill the moment your food or drink arrives; at WAW Terminal A, that saves 5–10 minutes of flagging down staff once boarding for your gate shows “last call.”
