The Main Car Park sits directly in front of the MAIN terminal at Viru Viru International Airport, with a walking time of about 5 minutes from most rows to the check-in doors. It handles both short- and long-stay parking, so you use the same lot whether you’re dropping a car for one day or a full week.

Pricing is flat at roughly $20 per day, which works best for trips of a few days or more; for very short visits under 4–5 hours, double-check on-site for hourly rates at the entry machine. The lot is uncovered, so in mid-day Santa Cruz heat, plan on a hot car if you’re parked more than a few hours.

The walk from the far end of the Main Car Park to the MAIN terminal doors takes around 5 minutes at a normal pace, even with a roller bag. There are pedestrian paths running toward the terminal entrance, and you cross only the internal access road, not the main highway. If you have heavy luggage, aim for rows closest to the terminal side to keep it closer to a 2–3 minute walk.

Payment is handled at exit booths tied to the car park, with pricing boards posted at the entrance and at each lane; bring a physical credit card or some cash in Bolivianos in case a reader is down. For longer trips of 7 days or more, do the math against ride-share or taxi costs from central Santa Cruz, which often run less than a full week of parking at $20 per day.

Tip: build an extra 10 minutes into your arrival time for ticketing at the entrance, finding a space, and the 5-minute walk to the MAIN terminal, especially during early-morning bank departures.
