Opposite check-in in Terminal 3, Welcome Fashion is clothing-only
Just off the main departures hall in Terminal 3 at Vienna International Airport, Welcome Fashion sells clothes and accessories, not food. If you want a shirt, scarf, or last-minute outfit fix before security, this is the stop; if you want coffee or a sandwich, head to one of the cafés nearby on the same level instead.
The shop sits landside, before security, close to several airline check-in islands used by Austrian Airlines and Star Alliance partners. That matters on a tight timeline: you can browse while waiting for check-in counters to open, then walk a couple of minutes straight to the T3 security checkpoint. Figure 10–15 minutes total to shop and pay without cutting it too close.
Pricing skews airport-high, roughly what you’d expect from a fashion shop in a major European hub. Think full retail for shirts, jackets, and travel-friendly layers rather than outlet bargains. Card payments, including contactless and mobile wallets, are accepted, which speeds things up when your boarding time is under 40 minutes.
Stock focuses on travel basics you might have forgotten or under-packed: tops, outerwear, and some accessories that work in both a cabin and a city center. You’ll find pieces suited to Vienna’s colder months as well as lighter items for summer city breaks, all within a short walk of the main departure screens in T3.
There aren’t many detailed reviews of Welcome Fashion at VIE, but nothing points to major issues with returns or staff attitude. As always at the airport, try items on carefully and check sizing there and then; swapping something after you’ve flown out of Austria gets tricky fast.
Tip: If you’re already past security in Terminal 1, 1A, or 3, don’t backtrack to landside for this shop; use the airside fashion stores instead to avoid another security check that can run 15–25 minutes.
