Gate-side seating near Terminal 3 makes Trib's an easy pit stop
Trib's sits airside in Vienna Airport’s Terminal 3, so you clear security once and then eat without watching the clock quite as hard. It’s a casual self-service setup with counter ordering and open seating, so you can spot your gate board while you eat and walk out within 2–3 minutes when boarding starts.
Food skews very standard European airport café: sandwiches, pastries, salads, and a few hot dishes. Expect ham-and-cheese or salami sandwiches in the €6–€8 range, plus simple pasta or soup around €9–€12. Portions run on the smaller side compared to downtown Vienna, so plan on one main plus a snack if you’re actually hungry before a 3+ hour flight.
Coffee matters here because Austria takes espresso seriously, and Trib’s keeps that baseline: a basic espresso usually lands around €2.50–€3, cappuccino a bit higher. Beer and wine are available by the bottle or small glass, typically in the €4–€6 bracket, and you can grab bottled water or soft drinks for around €3 while you queue.
Service is counter-only and moves at typical airport speed: at peak morning bank (07:00–09:00 departures from Terminal 3) the line can be 10–15 minutes, but food comes out fast because most of it is pre-prepped. Staff switch to a stripped-down menu later in the evening, and some hot items disappear after about 21:00, even though the seating area stays usable while nearby gates are active.
Trib’s also doubles as a last-minute grab-and-go spot if your boarding pass shows Schengen flights from gates F or G in Terminal 3. You can pay, get your sandwich packed, and be at many nearby gates in under 5 minutes of walking. Tip: if you land hungry, wait to eat until after passport control and security, then hit Trib’s so you’re not stuck searching for food farther down the pier with boarding already on the screen.
