Gate-side duty free in T1 with long opening hours

Dufry Shopping sits in Terminal T1 after security at Viracopos and runs from 05:00 to 22:45, so it’s open for most early-morning Azul banks and late departures. It’s the main duty-free style option in the terminal, covering everything from perfume to snacks in one stop.

This is a multi-category shop (“Type: Several”), so expect the usual duty free mix: liquor, fragrance, cosmetics, chocolates, and some travel basics. Prices sit at typical Brazilian duty free levels: spirits and fragrance can be decent value versus city retail, while candy and souvenirs often cost more than in Campinas. Pay in BRL or card; staff are used to quick turnaround for short connections.

Because T1 is the only terminal at VCP, Dufry Shopping serves both domestic and international flows, with stock skewed to international favorites plus a few Brazil-focused gifts. If you need a last-minute present, look at the mid-range fragrances and boxed chocolates; electronics and generic souvenirs feel pricey for what you get.

Lines spike around the evening international bank after about 19:00, especially for alcohol and cigarettes, and checkout can drag. If your boarding pass shows a tight departure around that time, shop first, then find your gate. Quick tip: grab sealed water and snacks here after security, since airside food options thin out closer to some remote gates in T1.
