Benetton

Gate-side clothing fix in T1

By the time you reach departures in Terminal 1, Benetton sits in the main airside shopping run as one of the few full clothing stores, not just a rack of hoodies. It’s post-security, so you can duck in after passport control without watching the landside clock. Stock skews casual: logo sweatshirts, basic knits, lightweight outerwear, plus seasonal kids’ pieces in the usual Benetton colors.

Expect European airport pricing rather than outlet deals: simple T‑shirts often land in the €20–€30 range, sweaters around €40–€70, and jackets higher. Sizes run typical EU, so if you’re coming off a long-haul and guessing, plan a quick try-on in the fitting room before boarding at any Schengen gate. Staff are used to tight connections and usually move checkouts quickly when a queue forms before the late-morning wave of departures.

Stock rotation follows the Italian season, so in winter you’ll actually find wool and padded layers, and in June–August more linen and lighter cotton pieces that work for 30°C+ arrivals. Accessories take a full wall: caps, scarves, socks, and small bags that sit mostly under €40. If you forgot a sweater for an air-conditioned overnight flight toward Asia or the Americas, this is one of the few spots airside in VCE T1 where you can fix that without walking back toward check-in.

Quick tip: prices are in euros only, so if your card charges a foreign transaction fee, this is the place in VCE T1 where using a fee-free card actually matters on a €60–€100 clothing top-up.
