Iyanola Lounge

Main · /ull Open · 10:30-21:00 Day pass $50 us/pp

Upstairs airside at UVF, Iyanola Lounge is mostly about the bar

On the airside first floor of Hewanorra’s Main terminal, Iyanola Lounge runs 10:30–21:00 and works best as a quiet spot for a drink rather than a full meal. Priority Pass, annual memberships, and walk-in guests are all accepted, with a day pass around US$50 per person.

After security in the Main terminal, turn left through the brown door, then take the lift or stairs to the first floor at the end of the hall. The space is fully air conditioned, a plus when the ground-level gate area heats up in the mid-afternoon St. Lucia departures bank.

The bar is the headline: multiple traveler reports mention a staffed “full bar” with premium spirits available on the house. If you value a proper mixed drink before your flight more than hot food, the lounge earns its keep, especially compared with the limited gate-side options at UVF.

Food is the weak point. Recent reviews describe “very very limited” choices like basic mac and cheese, cheese sandwiches, and some fruit, with no made-to-order menu. If you’re expecting a full dinner before a 19:00 departure, eat something in Vieux Fort or at your resort and treat Iyanola as a snack stop only.

Priority Pass lists a complimentary business area, Wi‑Fi, and flight information screens, so you can charge devices and track your boarding call without running back to the gate. Seating is standard armchairs and small tables rather than lie‑flat recliners, and the room can feel tired compared with newer Caribbean lounges.

Access can tighten. Priority Pass warns that entry may be restricted during busy periods, and that seating may be reserved when the room is close to capacity. Late‑afternoon bank around 15:00–17:00 is usually the crunch, when multiple northbound flights depart.

Regulars treat Iyanola as a pre-flight refuge for an hour or two, not a place to stretch a three‑hour layover. They’ll grab a quick plate of snacks, make use of the free drinks, and then head downstairs around 30–40 minutes before scheduled boarding at the Main terminal gates.

Tip: if you’re on Priority Pass and your flight leaves before 13:00, arrive closer to 10:30 opening time, eat properly beforehand, and treat the lounge as an air-conditioned bar with Wi‑Fi rather than a US$50 all-inclusive meal stop.
