TUS posts a “Valet Parking” option, but details are thin
The airport site lists Valet Parking at Tucson International (TUS) as a curbside service at the Main terminal, but there’s no current proof it’s actually running day to day. Pricing is shown as $0.00 per day in some materials, which usually means the product is inactive, not free.
Unlike the Economy and Garage options at TUS, this valet entry doesn’t show clear hours, phone number, or operating dates. There’s also no mention of which airline doors along the Main terminal curb you’re supposed to pull up to, which matters when Southwest, American, and Delta all use different check-in zones.
Regular reviews call out the 3 surface lots and the Parking Garage next to the Main terminal, but there are zero recent traveler comments about actually using Valet Parking. That gap is usually the tell that a product is paused, only used for special events, or retired but still sitting on a web template.
If you see “Valet Parking” printed on a TUS parking rate board by the Main terminal entrance, compare it against the normal Garage rate that runs in the tens of dollars per day range. If the valet line still shows $0.00 daily or has a sticker over it, assume it’s not a live option and plan on self-park instead.
Practical tip: On arrival at TUS, ask an airport parking attendant at the Main terminal curb if valet is actually operating that day; if they hesitate or point you to the Garage, don’t burn time hunting for this product.
