Each Tulsa hotel runs its own airport shuttle, not TUL

Tulsa International Airport has no airport-run hotel shuttle network; every ride is handled by individual properties, with pickup spots usually in the commercial lanes just outside baggage claim. Some hotels run all day, some stop around 11 pm, and a few only offer limited hours tied to front desk staffing. Always check your specific hotel’s listed shuttle times before you land at TUL.

There’s no shared schedule board inside the terminal, so you won’t see a big “Hotel Shuttles” timetable near baggage claim 1 or 2; instead, expect a phone number on your reservation or on a sign by the exit. Many Tulsa hotels operate on a “call on arrival” system, so plan on 10–20 minutes of wait time after you make the call, depending on traffic on Airport Dr and local I-244 congestion.

Costs vary by property: some chains around 2–5 miles from TUL include the shuttle in the room rate, while a few independent hotels may quote a flat per-ride fee in the $10–$20 range. Since the airport itself doesn’t set prices, the front desk is your only reliable source; confirm if the ride is complimentary or per person, and ask if return trips to TUL are handled the same way.

Frequency is also property-specific. A couple of the larger brands near the airport advertise every-30-minute runs during peak hours, while smaller spots might offer just on-demand pickups between, say, 7:00 am and 10:00 pm. On very early flights before 6:00 am, some guests report needing a taxi or app-based ride instead, because the hotel shuttle doesn’t start yet.

The usual pickup point is the outer curb in front of the baggage claim doors, in the same commercial zone where you’ll see rideshare and taxi traffic lining up. Most drivers hold a small sign with the hotel name or have it printed on the van; check the logo on the door before you load bags, since several brands run white Ford or Chevy vans that look similar in the dark.

Practical tip: as soon as your plane touches down at TUL, call your hotel from the runway or while taxiing; that 5–10 minute head start often lines the shuttle up with your walk from gate to baggage claim.
