Hot sandwiches in the main post-security food court

This Schlotzsky’s sits just past TSA in the main boulevard food court on the B concourse side, making it one of the only real hot-sandwich options once you’re airside at TUL. It runs early to early-evening, roughly 04:00 to 19:30, so breakfast departures and most dinner flights are covered, but late-night isn’t. Everything is order-at-counter with food brought out when ready.

Prices run mid-tier for an airport, solidly in the $$ range, and several reviews point out it’s higher than the in-town locations. The classic move here is The Original on toasted sourdough with meats, cheese, and olives; it’s the safest bet if you only visit once. Portion sizes skew bigger than typical grab-and-go, so a regular sandwich often handles a full meal before a mid-day flight.

The store is branded as “Schlotzsky’s featuring Cinnabon,” so the same counter does sandwiches plus Cinnabon rolls and coffee. That helps if you’re on a 06:00 departure and want something more than a pastry fridge but less than a sit-down breakfast. A common play from regular TUL flyers is hitting this spot right after security for an afternoon flight, then walking to the B gates with food in hand.

Service reviews are mixed: several travelers praise friendly staff, but multiple Google comments mention slow prep times around the mid-day rush between about 11:30 and 13:30. The dining space is small, so at peak it can feel cramped and noisy compared with the rest of the concourse. Rating hovers around 2 out of 5, so expectations should match “better than a random snack kiosk,” not “destination restaurant.”

Tip: if your boarding time is inside 25 minutes, skip hot sandwiches here and grab something pre-made instead; this line can move slower than it looks.
