24/7 FamilyMart in Terminal 2 keeps layovers simple

This FamilyMart sits airside in Terminal 2, handy if your domestic or Japan/Korea flight leaves from TSA’s newer side. It runs 24 hours most days, so late-night and early-morning departures around 05:00–07:00 still have a place for a quick bite. Think of it as your backup plan if the small sit-down spots in T2 are closed or full.

Food is classic Taiwan convenience-store fare: onigiri for around NT$25–35, microwave bento and pasta boxes around NT$70–120, and instant noodles on the shelf if you want something cheap before a 2–3 hour hop. Drinks range from canned coffee and milk tea at roughly NT$30–45 to large bottled water at about NT$20–30, far below typical airport café prices. You can also grab basic snacks like chips and chocolate in the NT$20–60 range.

Most passengers use the self-service microwave and hot water urn inside FamilyMart, which is useful if you grab a 7-Eleven-style bian dang before clearing security and want to heat it right before boarding. Seating is limited to a few counter spots, so plan to take your food back toward the T2 gates rather than treating this as a full café. Expect some crowding around the microwaves at common bank times like 09:00–10:00 and 18:00–19:00.

Payment is straightforward: major credit cards, local debit, and stored-value cards like EasyCard and iPASS all work at this Terminal 2 branch. That helps if you’re just transiting TSA and don’t want to break a NT$1,000 bill for a bottle of water and a rice ball. One practical tip: if you care about choice, stop here before walking to the far end gates in T2, since smaller snack kiosks closer to individual gates often close earlier and have fewer hot food options.
