Confectionery

Duty Free

T2

Right after T2 security, this Confectionery duty free hits first

You see Confectionery duty free immediately after immigration and security in Terminal T2, on the way to the international gates. It’s a small stand-alone shop focused almost entirely on chocolates and packaged sweets rather than liquor or perfume. If you want a last-minute edible souvenir before your flight to DXB, DOH, or KUL, this is the first stop without backtracking.

The shelves run heavy on global airport staples: big 400–500 g Toblerone bars, multipacks of KitKat, Ferrero Rocher gift boxes, and Lindt assorted bags. You’ll also find some Indian brands in gift-ready tins, usually in the ₹400–₹900 range, cheaper than most inflight carts on Air India and IndiGo international sectors. Pricing is in rupees with duty free tags, so you can pay with cards or leftover INR instead of digging into foreign currency.

Stock is geared to outbound passengers on late-night banks, and the lights generally stay on until the last long-haul departures around 02:00–03:00. Selection thins a bit after the 23:00 wave, so if your flight is closer to midnight, shop before you sit down at the gates near 19–21. Don’t expect fresh bakery items here; it’s all sealed and travel-safe.

Quick tactic: walk the perimeter once, grab a 2‑ or 3‑pack promo box near the central island display, and pay at the nearer of the two tills to the gate 18 side to avoid the small queue that forms on the opposite end when multiple Middle East flights board together.
