The Lounge

TRV’s international T2 now has a freshly branded “The Lounge”.

This space sits airside in Terminal T2, after immigration and security for international departures, and it runs 24 hours a day. It’s one of the few dedicated lounges at Thiruvananthapuram International, so late-night Gulf flights and early-morning departures all line up here.

Access is currently confirmed for Adani One ICICI credit card holders, plus walk-in customers paying at the door. Pricing for walk-ins isn’t consistently published yet, and staff in social clips mention rates varying by airline and time band, so treat it as a pay-on-the-day call rather than something to pre-book.

The name on the door is literally “The Lounge” and it’s signed from the main international departures concourse in T2. Follow the overhead lounge symbols after duty free; current clips show a glass-front entrance just past a cluster of gates for Middle East carriers, so you’re still only a few minutes’ walk from most boarding areas.

Food and drink details from the airport’s own video show a small buffet counter and self-serve soft drinks, but portion sizes, alcohol policy, and hot dish rotation are still unclear. Until more regulars report in with photos of specific items and prices, treat the catering as a basic upgrade over gate seating rather than a full restaurant replacement.

Seating layout in the official reel shows standard armchairs in rows, side tables with built-in power points, and overhead lighting similar to the rest of T2. No nap rooms, showers, or dedicated work pods are mentioned in the launch material, so if you need a proper lie-flat rest before a 04:00 departure, plan that at your hotel rather than here.

Right now there are zero reliable third-party reviews on FlyerTalk, Reddit, or major blogs, even though the lounge is already open 24/7. That gap is the main story: you can budget time to try it, but don’t burn a tight connection or a prepaid hotel checkout window just to spend an hour here.

Practical tip: if your Adani One ICICI card gets you in for free, arrive in T2 about 30–40 minutes earlier than you normally would, test The Lounge once, and then decide if it earns a repeat visit on your next TRV run.
