Two-slice specials here run about $10 near Main Terminal.
New York New York Pizza sits in the Main Terminal food court at Tampa International Airport, on the landside before security. That matters if your flight leaves from an airside concourse; you need time to clear TSA after you eat. It’s fast-casual counter service with basic seating, geared toward a quick stop on the way to the shuttle trains.
A typical cheese slice runs roughly $4–$5, with pepperoni and other toppings a dollar or so more. Expect 16–18 inch pies in the case, sold by the slice and whole pies available if you’re feeding a group. This is standard New York–style: thin-ish crust, foldable, with oil you’ll notice on the paper plate. If you’re on a budget, one slice and a fountain drink usually stays under $10–$12.
The menu sticks to pizza, garlic knots, and basic sides. You’ll usually see cheese, pepperoni, and a rotation of a veggie or “supreme” style pie in the display. Order from what’s already out; having them reheat an existing slice takes 2–3 minutes, while a fresh custom pie can run 15–20 minutes, which is tight before boarding. Portions are large enough that two slices can easily carry you through a 2–3 hour flight.
Quality is about what you’d expect from a mall-style New York slice shop inside an airport. It beats grabbing only chips at a newsstand, but it’s not destination pizza. Fresh pies coming out of the oven on the half-hour tend to taste better, so timing your order right matters more than the exact topping.
Tip: eat here only if you still need to check a bag or meet someone in the Main Terminal; if you’re already through security at TPA, stay airside and use the restaurants in your own concourse instead of backtracking.
