Gate-side food court option in Airside E

Marche E sits in Terminal E (Airside E) at Tampa International Airport, just past the security checkpoint for airlines like Southwest and Frontier. It’s a compact food court setup rather than a single-brand restaurant, so you’ll see multiple counters and grab-and-go coolers clustered in one space. This is the main eat-and-run option in this airside if you don’t want to backtrack toward the central rotunda.

Hours track with the first and last bank of departures out of Airside E, so you’ll usually find something open from early-morning flights around 5:00–5:30 a.m. through the last departures after 9:00 p.m. Expect basic airport pricing: breakfast sandwiches and pastries in the $5–$9 range, bottled drinks around $4, and hot items creeping into the low teens. Everything is already airside, so you’re eating after security with eyes on the E-gate departure boards.

Food options lean on standard quick-service picks: pre-made sandwiches, salads, yogurt cups, snack boxes, and packaged chips and candy. If a hot line is running, you’ll see simple burgers, chicken tenders, and fries at typical Terminal E pricing, roughly $11–$16 for a meal. Coffee comes from the same counter system, so you can grab a drip coffee for a few dollars or a basic latte in the $5–$6 zone while keeping your boarding pass in hand.

Seating is shared with the surrounding Airside E concourse, using the gate-area tables and chairs positioned near the Marche E counters. That means power outlets and USB ports are hit-or-miss, depending on which cluster of seats you claim by your gate number. Lines spike around the 20–30 minutes before the big Southwest departures, especially near mid-morning and early evening, so plan a short buffer if your flight leaves from an E10–E18 gate.

Tip: If your flight from Airside E boards within 30 minutes, stick to packaged items at Marche E so you can pay, walk straight to the gate, and eat in the boarding area instead of waiting on the hot line.
