Top 14 on the screen, pint in hand at Terminal 1

Rugby Bar sits airside in Terminal 1 at Toulouse-Blagnac, and it leans hard into the city’s rugby obsession. TV screens loop Top 14 and international matches, so you can keep an eye on the score right up until boarding. Expect standard bar drinks only: draft and bottled beer, basic wines, and soft drinks at typical airport pricing in the mid-€7–€10 per drink range.

The place runs on airport hours, generally open from late morning through the evening rush when T1 departures peak between about 16:00 and 20:00. It’s post-security, so you’re fine once you’ve cleared the single T1 checkpoint. Seating is bar stools and a few small tables, and it does fill quickly when two or three flights to Paris or London go off at roughly the same time.

Food is limited: think snacks and light plates rather than a full meal, with prices landing in the mid $$ bracket for the airport. Reviews put this at a solid 3 out of 5: acceptable if you just want a beer and crisps, disappointing if you walk in hungry expecting a restaurant. If you need something substantial, grab a sandwich elsewhere in Terminal 1 and treat Rugby Bar as the drinks stop.

Regular TLS flyers on Skytrax mention timing their airport arrival to catch 20–30 minutes of a live match with a beer before a Ryanair or Air France departure. That’s the strong use case here: one pint, one half of a game, then board. It’s one of the few spots still pouring in the mid-afternoon lull, which is why it shows up in reviews from 15:00–17:00 departures.

Watch out for: service gets described as “indifferent” and slow when several flights bunch up, so don’t order at T–20 and expect a quick turnaround. Practical move: grab your drink as soon as you clear security, then pick a seat with a sightline to the departure boards as well as the TV.
