30 seconds is about all you get at TLS Drop-off

The Drop-off Zone at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport sits right in front of Terminal 1, signed as “Dépose-minute / Kiss & Fly.” It’s for very quick goodbyes only, not actual parking. Think engine running, bags out, hug, and go. Airport rules and on-site signs make it clear you can stop briefly, but you’re not meant to leave the car or wait.

This area feeds directly into the departures level of Terminal 1, so you’re roughly a 1–3 minute walk from the main doors once you’re dropped. Access follows the standard terminal road loop, with clear “Dépose-minute” markings in French and English. Traffic can bunch up around peak departures banks in the morning and early evening, so build in an extra 5–10 minutes for the approach road at busy times.

Fees and timing policies change, but the rule of thumb here: this Kiss and Fly lane is for short stopping only, not a free parking hack. Spotterguide reports you can briefly stop at the referenced point, but parking is explicitly not allowed. If you need more than a quick unload, use official short-stay car parks P1 or P2, which sit within a few hundred meters of the terminal and are built for 30–60 minute waits.

Watch out for enforcement around the Drop-off Zone. Airport security and police drive past regularly, especially during the 06:00–09:00 and 17:00–20:00 peaks, and they move cars on quickly. Fines or towing are real risks if you leave the vehicle unattended, even “just for a minute” to help with a bag or check a ticket at Terminal 1.

Practical tip: agree on a specific door number and time at Terminal 1 before you enter the airport road loop so the driver only needs a single 20–30 second stop in the Drop-off Zone.
