Parking

€5 per day gets you into VIP Parking at TLL

At Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, VIP Parking sits closest to Terminal T1 and runs about €5 per day, so it undercuts many other European airport "VIP" options on price. You’re paying mainly for proximity and a smaller, easier-to-spot car park, not a full valet setup. It’s a standard self-park lot, marked as VIP on airport signs as you drive toward the terminal.

The walk from VIP Parking to the T1 departures entrance is only a few minutes, usually under 5–7 minutes at a normal pace. That short walk can matter on early flights leaving around 06:00, when taxi queues and bus timings get tight. You park, grab your bags, and head straight to the main doors without shuttle buses or extra checkpoints.

Payment lines up with the published rate of about €5 for each full 24-hour period, billed at official airport machines near the terminal doors. The lot works well for 1–3 day trips where a taxi would cost close to the same each way within Tallinn city, especially if two people are traveling. For longer trips, compare against the standard long-stay pricing before you commit to a week.

The car park is within the main airport grounds of TLL, right by the terminal access roads, so entry and exit follow the same barriers and ticket system as other official parking areas. Lighting runs through the night and matches the rest of the airport exterior lighting. There’s no separate security gate beyond the usual fencing and cameras used across the airport parking zones.

Tip: Take a quick photo of the VIP Parking entrance sign and your row before you walk to T1; it makes finding your car faster after a late-night arrival around 23:00.
