Few reports exist on TIA’s 24/7 Private Terminal Lounge

This is Tirana’s separate VIP facility, branded as a private terminal and operating 00:00–23:59 for pre-booked or invited guests only. It sits outside the usual T1 flow and handles VIP, government and many charter movements away from the main passenger hall.

Access runs through dedicated security and immigration channels instead of the standard T1 checkpoints. You don’t just walk up from the public check-in desks; in practice, a handler, airline VIP service, or charter operator arranges it in advance and escorts you to the lounge area.

Priority Pass lists the Private Terminal Lounge at Tirana International Airport, but real-world access often depends on the service package you buy, not just a card. In several cases at similar “private terminal” setups, you pay a per-person fee on top of lounge membership, so budget as if this could run higher than a normal lounge day-pass.

The space functions more like a small FBO than a standard Schengen-area contract lounge in T1. Expect seating, light refreshments and private restrooms at a minimum; given the VIP positioning, staff usually handle check-in formalities, boarding passes and luggage while you stay inside this secure area.

Because there are essentially no public reviews, assume the food is basic continental snacks rather than a full restaurant with cooked-to-order mains. If you have dietary requirements, have your handler specify these at booking; at small VIP terminals, 24-hour operations (here it’s 00:00–23:59) don’t always mean full catering at 03:00.

There’s no clear data on alcohol policy or brand selection, and no list of shower rooms published by the airport or Priority Pass. If a long layover is involved, ask directly about showers and quiet rooms when you confirm the booking, and get the answer in writing from the agent or operator.

One practical tip: factor in transfer time between this facility and T1 gates in case your airline uses regular boarding. Ask your handler for an exact pickup time from the lounge to the aircraft, and treat anything less than 20 minutes before departure as tight at Tirana.
