Gate-side sandwiches at MasQMenos in Terminal T
MasQMenos sits airside in TFN Terminal T’s departures area, a short walk from the main gates after security. It runs through typical flight banks, so you’ll usually find it open from early morning departures into the late afternoon. Expect a straight Spanish café setup: counter ordering, quick prep, and food you can carry back to seats near your gate.
Pricing lands in standard airport territory: coffee around a few euros, cold drinks higher, and sandwiches and snacks climbing toward 10–12 EUR once you add extras. The menu leans on simple Spanish staples like ham-and-cheese sandwiches, baguettes, and pre-made snacks. It’s fine for a last bite if you skipped town food in La Laguna or Santa Cruz, but don’t come expecting a sit-down restaurant.
Service works bar-style: pay at the register, wait for your tray, then either stand at the counter or grab a nearby table in the shared seating area. If your boarding pass shows a Schengen flight, you’re already in the right place; there’s no extra passport check between MasQMenos and the T gates. Staff move quickly when a 10:00–11:00 bank hits, but lines can stack before mid-morning departures.
Food skews salty and bread-heavy, and vegetarian choices are limited to things like basic cheese sandwiches or tomato toast if they have it prepped. Portions are modest by mainland standards, so assume one sandwich per person instead of splitting. If you care about coffee, the espresso here beats the vending machines near gates A8–A12, but it’s not a specialty café.
Tip: Stop here before you walk all the way down to the remote gates; doubling back from the far end of T can easily burn 10 minutes right before boarding.
