It sits airside in the International Departures area, so you need a same-day outbound boarding pass stamped for SVD to get in.

Some resorts on St. Vincent, including Young Island, bundle single-use Garifuna Lounge passes into departure packages, but walk-up pay-in access is still available around the $50 mark. That’s worth doing only if the main international departure lounge outside the doors is jammed and you have at least 90 minutes before boarding.

This is a small space serving the limited number of international flights leaving Terminal T, so expect basic seating and a quieter atmosphere rather than full-blown premium services. Think of it as a step up from the regular gate area at SVD, not a Polaris-style spread with showers and multiple hot buffet stations.

Food and drink at Garifuna Lounge track closer to light snacks than a full meal, and nothing in current reports suggests a signature dish or bar program worth timing your airport arrival around. With a day pass at $50, assume you are paying primarily for relative comfort and a power outlet between international departures, not for restaurant-level catering.

There is no tie-in with the usual global lounge networks as of now, so you won’t get in with Priority Pass, DragonPass, or an Amex Platinum by default at Argyle International’s Terminal T. Instead, entry is either prepaid via select hotels and tour operators or handled on a straightforward walk-up basis at the reception desk.

Staffing and service standards are still evolving in this newer SVD facility, and online reviews are thin, so treat Garifuna Lounge as a backup plan rather than the anchor of your departure day. One practical play: confirm with your hotel or tour operator 24 hours before departure whether they can include access, then only pay the walk-up rate at T if your international flight looks busy and the main seating area is already full.
