Sets, minifigures, and keychains right in Stansted’s main departures

This LEGO store sits airside in London Stansted’s main departure lounge, after security and before the split to the gates. You walk past it on the way from security toward the central seating and food court, so it’s an easy add-on stop with kids in tow.

Most boxed sets here run in the £10–£60 range, with a few larger themed kits creeping well over £100. Expect current Star Wars, Harry Potter, Technic, and City sets, plus the smaller “polybag” impulse buys around £4–£5 that work as quick plane toys.

The shop also stocks LEGO keychains, magnets, and small novelty items under £10, which help if you just need a souvenir from “London” without paying duty-free perfume prices. Packaging is standard retail size, so big boxes can hog cabin baggage on low-cost carriers like Ryanair and easyJet.

Staff usually open store-wide around early-morning departure banks and trade through the last main departures wave in the evening, roughly in line with other landside-to-airside retail at STN. If you’re on a 06:00–07:00 flight, expect it to be open; ultra-late departures may find shutters down.

One practical tip: check your airline’s cabin bag limits before grabbing that big Millennium Falcon box. If you’re already maxed on 1 small under-seat bag with Ryanair, stick to keychains and mini sets so you don’t trigger a gate bag fee at boarding.
