4 Hands Brewing–Peacemaker Lobster and Crab

Gate-side pints and seafood rolls in Terminal 2

In STL’s Terminal 2, 4 Hands Brewing–Peacemaker Lobster and Crab gives Southwest flyers a real-meal option between security and the gates. It sits airside after the single T2 checkpoint, so once you’re through TSA you’re only a few minutes’ walk from both the bar and your boarding area. It runs through most flight banks, typically opening by the first morning departures and staying open into the evening rush; late-night stragglers after the last Southwest bank may find it closed.

Menu focus is exactly what the name says: lobster and crab rolls, plus bar food to back up the 4 Hands taps. Expect prices in the $15–$25 range for sandwiches and seafood plates, and $8–$12 for a pint of craft beer. Compared to the basic grab-and-go near the T2 checkpoint, this is the sit-down option if you want an actual plate and a real glass.

Beer is the draw for many locals connecting home through STL. You’ll usually find several 4 Hands staples on draft, including IPAs and seasonals, with flights available if you want to sample more than one before a 2–3 hour hop. Non-beer drinkers still get the usual sodas and basic spirits, but this spot leans hard into the brewery side of the partnership rather than a full cocktail program.

Seating runs along the bar plus a small number of tables, and at peak times around big Southwest pushes (for example, late afternoon banks between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.) it can feel tight. Service pace tracks staffing: fine when half full, slow when every seat is taken and two or three flights are boarding within 45 minutes.

Tip: in Terminal 2, clear security at least 60 minutes before departure if you want a beer and lobster roll here, then sit close enough to watch the screens for your Southwest gate change.
