Gate 8 in Terminal A, right across from the seats
Harbor Exchange sits by Gate 8 in Terminal A, post-security, so it’s an easy stop on the walk toward the A1–A10 gates. This is the “did I pack that?” shop: phone chargers, basic toiletries, neck pillows, eye masks, plus a small wall of snacks and drinks. Prices skew airport-high, but single-use items like travel-size toothpaste and deodorant stay under about $6.
The store usually opens early with the first wave of departures around 5:00–5:30 a.m. and stays open into the evening bank of flights, typically past the 8:00 p.m. departures from A. Expect standard name-brand snacks, bottled water, and sodas, along with a fridge of energy drinks and juice. If you need a last-minute TSA-friendly liquid, grab the travel-size section near the front counter.
Harbor Exchange also stocks tech basics: USB-C and Lightning cables, wall adapters, and cheap wired earbuds that run roughly $15–$25. You’ll see a small rack of SNA and Orange County logo items near the back wall by the magazines, handy if you skipped souvenirs in town. Reading material is limited but you can usually find a couple of national magazines and a few paperback bestsellers.
Tip: If your flight boards at Gate 8 or 9, stop here first for water and a snack; there’s less variety by some of the farther A-gates and lines get longer during the 6:00–8:00 a.m. crunch.
