B

Near the B gates, TravelMart covers the last-minute gaps

TravelMart sits airside in Terminal B, past security and along the main concourse to the B gates. It’s the classic grab-what-you-forgot stop: phone cables, international plug adapters, basic toiletries, and a rack of neck pillows all in one compact space. You’ll also see a wall of chips and candy plus a small refrigerated case with bottled drinks, all priced at typical airport markup rather than downtown convenience-store levels.

Hours generally track Terminal B’s early departures, with doors open before the first bank of flights around 4:30–5:00 a.m. and closing after the last evening departures. Coffee and bottled cold brew are easy to spot near the front coolers, along with energy drinks for those 6:00 a.m. SMF–SEA or SMF–DEN runs. If you’re landing late into B, expect reduced stock in the snack section but basics like water and toothpaste still on the shelves.

Stock leans heavy on travel-sized meds and hygiene items: think TSA-friendly pain relievers, motion-sickness tablets, toothbrush kits, and single-use contact lens solution bottles. Tech-wise, you’ll find Lightning, USB‑C, and USB‑A cables, plus generic earbuds that typically run well under $25. Magazines and a small book section sit opposite the fridges, with national titles and a few California-focused travel guides that reference Sacramento and the wider Northern California region.

Watch out for small items parked right at the register; gum, candy bars, and travel gadgets add up fast on a $10 bottle of sunscreen. If you already cleared your packing list but want a cold drink before boarding at B10 or B15, skip the line here and use the nearby soda machines instead.
