Gate B area newsstand with snacks and last-minute gear

Just past security in Terminal B, Hudson sits along the main concourse and fills the gap between gate food and the hotel gift shop back in town. It’s the standard airport combo: magazines, paperbacks, basic electronics, snacks, and drinks, all within a 3–5 minute walk of most B gates. Prices run a bit above street level, so figure $3–$4 for bottled drinks and $2–$5 for packaged snacks.

Hudson in Terminal B stocks travel basics you forgot at home: phone chargers, earbuds, power banks, neck pillows, simple TSA-size toiletries, and a few over-the-counter meds. If you need a lightning cable before boarding a Southwest or United flight, this is where you get it without leaving the secure side. Expect to pay around $20–$35 for chargers and accessories.

Food-wise, this Hudson leans heavily on grab-and-go. Think chips, candy bars, nuts, gum, and some packaged pastries in the $2–$7 range, plus canned or bottled coffee and energy drinks. It’s fine for throwing together a snack bag before a 2–3 hour flight, but not a replacement for an actual meal in the B concourse restaurants.

Figure 5–10 minutes total to detour here from most Terminal B gates and still be back in time for boarding. One practical move: buy a big water or refillable bottle here after clearing security so you’re not relying on the single fountain near your gate once the boarding area fills up.
