Gate-side lounge option in Terminal 2 with basic comfort
Skyserv Lounge sits airside in Terminal 2 at Thessaloniki (SKG), after security and passport control for non-Schengen departures. It mainly serves business-class and status passengers, plus several lounge card programs, so check if your Priority Pass or similar card lists it before you walk over. Signage in T2 is decent; expect a 3–5 minute walk from most international gates.
The lounge usually opens early morning to cover the first departures and stays open until the late-evening international bank; hours can shift with the seasonal timetable, so rely on the current day’s listing on airport screens. Seating runs to standard armchairs and tables rather than recliners, and it fills up around the 06:00–09:00 wave when multiple Aegean and low-cost flights leave.
Food is simple: think cold snacks, a few pastries, and light bites rather than full meals, with self-serve soft drinks, coffee machines, and a small alcohol selection that typically includes beer and basic spirits. Don’t plan on a full dinner before a 3–4 hour flight; it’s more a place for a quick plate and a drink. Wi‑Fi is free, and power outlets are scattered but not at every seat, so grab one when you see it.
There are no showers and no true quiet rooms, so this isn’t a long layover solution if you have 5–6 hours to kill. Use the lounge for an hour to charge devices, grab a snack, and then move to the gate about 30 minutes before boarding at SKG T2.
