Business Lounge

Gate-side in Terminal 2, Prima Vista is SKG’s contract lounge

Just past security in Terminal 2, Prima Vista Lounge serves business-class and priority-pass style traffic for most non-Schengen departures from Thessaloniki. It’s one of the few spots in SKG where you can sit down with a coffee and plug in before boarding, instead of hunting for outlets at the gate. Seating is standard armchairs and tables, fine for an hour or so but not set up for long work sessions.

The lounge usually opens in the morning to cover early departures and runs through the evening bank, roughly matching Terminal 2’s main flight waves; check your program app for exact hours on your date. Food is basic cold snacks: think pastries, sandwiches, and light bites that work as a tide-over, not a full meal. Coffee machines, soft drinks, and a small selection of alcoholic drinks are included, so you won’t be paying per drink at the bar.

Access depends on airline, ticket, or card: business-class passengers on several carriers using Terminal 2 get in free, while others use Priority Pass or pay-at-the-door when space allows. Wi‑Fi runs off the airport’s network, which in SKG often hovers around single‑digit Mbps; fine for email and messaging, less so for heavy uploads. Power outlets are scattered rather than at every seat, so if you see one free near the window, take it.

Tip: if your gate is in the higher 20s, leave Prima Vista about 20 minutes before boarding time; walking plus a quick security check at the gate can eat 10 minutes on its own.
