Zero EV chatter, but SKB now has chargers next to the terminal
EV Charging Stations at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport sit directly next to the terminal building, so you’re a 1–2 minute walk from check-in. Signage on-site is minimal, and none of the usual airport review sites or forums mention using these chargers, which tells you usage is light and information is thin.
The chargers are in the main airport car park by the terminal curb, not in a separate long-stay lot, so you park and plug in exactly where you’d park an ordinary car. SKB is a small field with a single terminal handling all flights, so there’s no “wrong” side of the airport to end up on.
Airport reviews from 2023 and 2024 make no reference to electric rental cars, and none of the big rental brands at SKB advertise EVs on their local fleet pages. That strongly suggests these chargers mainly serve locally owned EVs, not visitors picking up a car from Hertz or Avis for a week on St Kitts.
Because there is no official airport page listing connector type, charging speed in kW, or pricing per kWh, you should not land here counting on a fast top-up before a 15:00 departure. Treat it as a possible bonus if it works with your plug and your payment method, not as your only charging plan on the island.
Practical tip: before committing to an electric rental for a 5–7 day stay, email the rental agency and ask directly about charging options on St Kitts, then confirm with your accommodation; treat the SKB chargers next to the terminal as backup, not your primary solution.
