Gate B-side duty free without leaving security
Dufry sits airside in Terminal B, handy if your flight boards from one of the B gates and you want duty free without detouring to Terminal A. It’s the standard walk-through style shop planted between security and the main gate corridor, so you pretty much pass it on the way to most B departures.
Liquor and rum dominate here, with plenty of Puerto Rican labels on the shelves and multi-bottle promos that often shave a few dollars per bottle compared to downtown San Juan shops. You’ll also see the usual big international brands, cigarette cartons, and a wall of fragrance sets from names like Dior and Carolina Herrera, generally priced in line with other Caribbean duty free stores.
Expect the classic airport mix of candy bags, Toblerone bars, and souvenir chocolates right at the front, plus smaller local snacks you can grab under $10 for the plane. Electronics are limited to basic travel adapters, charging cables, and headphones, so don’t count on finding a full-size power bank or laptop gear here in Terminal B.
Most flights out of SJU’s Terminal B start boarding around 30–40 minutes before departure, so hit Dufry right after security rather than waiting until your group is called; lines at the single staffed checkout can back up fast when two B-gates board at the same time.
