The lot runs a 24/7 shuttle, which matters at SJD because many departures leave before 07:00 and red-eyes land after midnight. Shuttles run on demand between the lot and the terminals, so you’re not timing your flight around a fixed 30-minute loop. San Jose Park N Fly markets itself as the “newest, most convenient full-service airport parking facility in Los Cabos,” and regulars back that up in forums. One Talk Baja member, Cheryl Harris Mathews, calls it the most recommended option for long-term parking at SJD and mentions having a great experience leaving her car there for a trip that ran several days.
Pricing changes, but it’s set up specifically for multi-day and week-plus stays, not quick 2–3 hour pickups. You pay by the day in pesos, with total cost usually under what a single round-trip taxi can run from San José del Cabo’s hotel zone to Terminal 2. That math tilts hard in favor of the lot once you’re over three or four days away.
What regulars do: in Talk Baja threads from 2023 and 2024, when someone asks “where do I leave my car at SJD for a week,” multiple replies just say “San Jose Park n Fly,” with no alternatives listed. People park, hand over keys at the office, get dropped at Terminal 1 or 2, and call or flag staff on return for a pickup within about 10 minutes.
Watch out for: traffic on Highway 1 can spike on weekend afternoons, adding 5–10 minutes to the shuttle ride. Build a 30-minute buffer on top of your normal airport arrival time, especially for US-bound flights out of Terminal 2 where check-in and exit immigration can both add 20–30 minutes.
