Gate A-side coffee stop with quick snacks

Euro Café sits in Terminal A at SJC, airside past security, and works as a grab-and-go spot if you’re flying out of the A10–A18 gate area. It’s a small counter setup, so think fast service, not a sit-down break. Expect standard airport pricing on coffee, pastries, and packaged snacks, a notch higher than downtown San Jose cafés but in line with the rest of Terminal A.

Open through most of the daytime flight bank in Terminal A, Euro Café focuses on quick snacks rather than full meals. You’ll see drip coffee, espresso drinks, bottled drinks, chips, and pastry-case items that you can carry back to gates like A12 or A14 in under five minutes. If you just need something to hold you over until a connection or hotel dinner, this works better than committing to a full restaurant like the ones closer to the security checkpoint.

Expect standard packaged options: granola bars, candy, nuts, and refrigerated grab-and-go items, usually priced in the $3–$8 range. Coffee and espresso drinks land around typical airport prices, roughly $4–$7 depending on size and extras. There are no standout signature dishes here; it’s about speed and proximity when you’re boarding soon from Terminal A.

There aren’t many public complaints about Euro Café, but it’s not a destination stop either, especially if you have time to walk toward the larger food court area shared by gates A1–A8. Watch out for peak morning bank lines around 6:30–8:30 a.m. when multiple departures leave from A10–A18; that’s when waits can stretch to 10–15 minutes. Tip: if the line is more than a dozen deep, walk a couple of minutes toward the central Terminal A options instead.
