Right in T2, Watsons gives you a quick pharmacy-style stop before boarding.
This branch sits airside in Terminal T2, handy if your flight leaves from the domestic concourse and you realize you forgot basics. Expect the usual Watsons mix: travel-size toiletries, skincare, tissues, cotton pads, and over-the-counter personal care. Prices track close to city locations, so it doesn’t feel like full-on airport markup, though imported skincare can run higher than downtown Shanghai shops.
Watsons in T2 leans heavily into everyday emergencies: extra toothpaste before a red-eye, shampoo and conditioner in 100 ml bottles, basic cosmetics, and seasonal items like sheet masks for long-haul flights. You won’t find prescription meds here, but common needs like band-aids, pain relief patches, and basic cold remedies usually sit near the front. Figure 20–60 RMB for most small items, with larger skincare sets running higher.
Stock at this T2 Watsons is more compact than a city branch, so don’t expect every brand line or shade. If you care about one specific sunscreen or foundation, buy it in town on Nanjing Road or another downtown Watsons before heading to SHA. Still, for last-minute refills or something you forgot in your 20 kg checked bag, it usually does the job without a long detour from T2 gates.
Tip: swing by right after T2 security rather than 15 minutes before your boarding time; lines at the single cashier can back up when two or three flights at nearby gates board at once.
