Tyler Florence Rotisserie

Half rotisserie chicken in Terminal 2 beats another sad salad

Tyler Florence Rotisserie sits post-security in Terminal 2, near the main food court used by Alaska and some American flights. It leans hard into roast chicken and sides instead of the usual fridge of plastic-wrapped sandwiches. Expect real plates of protein and vegetables, which matters before a 5-hour hop to JFK or EWR.

The headliner is the rotisserie chicken: order a half or quarter with two sides and you’re looking at enough food to count as a proper meal, not “snack box” territory. Sides usually include mac and cheese, roasted potatoes, and basic greens, and you can mix them across the plate. It’s the spot people mention when they want something heavier than a $14 grab-and-go wrap from elsewhere in T2.

Prices run in typical airport range, roughly mid-teens to around $20 for a chicken plate with sides, which still lands better value than piecing together a salad and protein pot from the fridge cases nearby. Portions skew big enough to share a half-chicken plate between two lighter eaters on a shorter leg to LAX, SAN, or SEA.

Terminal 2’s security lines calm down after about 10am, and that’s when this place starts to make sense for an early lunch before noon departures. Seating is mixed high-tops and regular tables near gate 52, and food comes out reasonably fast, so a 30–40 minute window is usually enough from order to last bite. If you have under 20 minutes to boarding, skip the full plate and grab a single side or smaller portion instead.

Practical tip: ask them to box the chicken and sides separately if you’re headed onto a 6-hour flight; it travels better and won’t steam the skin by the time you reach cruising altitude over Denver.
