China Airlines Lounge

International A

Level 4 in International A puts the China Airlines Lounge in the same Priority Pass conversation as the Golden Gate Lounge and Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse.

The China Airlines Lounge sits airside in International Terminal A, up on Level 4 above the concourse restaurants and gates A1–A12, so it's easy to walk between all three Priority Pass options in this pier. You clear security for International A, turn left past duty free, then look for the elevator marked for airline lounges and ride it up one level.

This is an airline-run international lounge, not a generic contract room, and it mainly serves China Airlines departures to Taipei while also accepting Priority Pass during non-peak bank times. Because it’s one floor above the main hallway, first-time visitors often miss it and head straight for the ground-level Golden Gate Lounge or the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse across the pier.

Hours track China Airlines’ schedule, aligning with long-haul flights that typically leave in the late morning and late evening from International A gates, so it may not open as early as lounges in Terminals 2 or 3. If you’re connecting off a domestic flight, expect a 10–15 minute walk from Terminal 2 or 3 through the airside corridor into International A once you’re past security.

Priority Pass regulars often treat Concourse A like a lounge crawl: China Airlines Lounge on Level 4, then down to the Golden Gate Lounge near gate A5, and over to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse near other A-gates to compare crowding and hot food. People swap in real time which one has the better buffet and fewer people before committing to sit down.

The entrance is not obvious from the concourse; you need the elevator just left of the International A security exit to reach Level 4, or you’ll only see the more obvious ground-level doors for the other Priority Pass lounges. Plan an extra 5 minutes to find the lift and ride up, especially if you’re coming off a long walk from Terminal 3.

Practical tip: if you have Priority Pass and time, start at the China Airlines Lounge on Level 4 in International A, then walk back down and peek at the Golden Gate Lounge and Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse before you settle, since all three are within a few minutes of each other.
