B $$$$ Landside

Terminal B has Sanford Tap before security, not past it

Sanford Tap sits landside in Terminal B, outside the security checkpoint, so plan an extra 15–20 minutes if you want to eat here and still clear screening without stress. It runs in the mid-range $$ bracket, so think typical airport bar pricing rather than fast food: a burger and soft drink will usually land in the $18–$22 range with tip.

The menu hits the basics: burgers, breakfast plates, simple salads, and drinks. Expect eggs, bacon, and toast or pancakes in the morning hours, then switch to burgers and maybe a chicken sandwich or salad by midday. Nothing on social media or review sites points to a signature dish, so treat it like a standard bar-and-grill stop to grab something more substantial than a $7 bag of chips from a nearby kiosk in Terminal B.

Because Sanford Tap is pre-security, it works for both arrivals and departures using Terminal B gates, including Allegiant flights that check in at the landside counters nearby. If you have family dropping you off, they can sit down here with you over a quick breakfast sandwich and coffee before you head to TSA, instead of standing at the curb outside Door 2. It also gives you a drink option if you land late and the smaller gate-area concessions are closed.

There are no consistent complaints online about food safety, wait times, or surprise fees, mostly because there are barely any reviews at all. Take that as a sign to manage expectations: think frozen fries, basic lettuce mixes, and standard liquor pours in 1.5 oz range, not chef-driven anything. Service pace in similar SFB spots runs 10–20 minutes from order to plate, so build that into your buffer before a 6:30 p.m. departure.

Tip: If your boarding pass shows boarding 40 minutes before departure from a B-gate, be through security by that time; finish at Sanford Tap at least 60 minutes before your scheduled takeoff.
