Across-the-street covered parking at SFB for $20 a day

Garage Parking at Orlando Sanford (SFB) sits directly across the street from the terminal, about a 5-minute walk to both Terminal A and B doors. It’s the short-stay, pay-more / walk-less option, aimed at drivers who want a covered spot and don’t care about saving a few dollars compared with the surface lots farther out.

Rates run $2 every 20 minutes, capped at $20 per 24 hours, so a quick pickup under an hour stays under the daily max, and an overnight hits the flat $20. The pricing clock restarts every 24 hours, so 36 hours bills as one full day plus the extra hours at the short-term increment.

The big trade: location versus shuttle. Airport notes say free shuttles do not access the Garage at all, so this is 100% walk-up parking. You park, grab your bags, use the marked crosswalks, and you’re in the terminal doors within about 5 minutes, instead of waiting 10–15 minutes for a shuttle from the long-term lots.

Garage Parking functions as SFB’s short-stay option, best used for trips of a few hours, same-day returns, or 1–3 night runs where you value covered parking across from the terminal more than the lower daily rates in the uncovered long-term lots. For a full week at $20 per day, the tab adds up faster than surface parking on airport property.

Tip: If you’re dropping someone for an early-morning departure from Terminal A or B and expect to help them inside, skip the curb, park in the Garage, and treat the 5-minute walk across the crosswalks as your buffer against security or ticket-counter lines.
