Cell Phone Lot

Remote

Free lot less than a mile from SFB’s terminals

The Cell Phone Lot at Orlando Sanford (SFB) sits off Red Cleveland Boulevard, on the right shortly after you turn in toward the airport, less than a mile from Terminals A and B. It’s a remote holding area, not a walkable option, and it’s set up strictly for short waits while arrivals clear the terminal and grab their bags.

Parking here is free all day, with no ticket pulled and no gate to pass. The trade-off: the airport’s rules say no overnight parking, so this is not a place to stash a car for a late-night arrival or an early-morning flight. Think in 15–60 minute chunks while you watch your passenger’s inbound flight on your phone.

This lot exists to keep you from circling the terminal loop or paying terminal garage or hourly rates just to sit in the car. Because it’s under a mile from Terminals A and B, you can usually reach the arrivals curb in a few minutes once your passenger texts that they’re at the doors. Have them send the airline and door number so you can pull straight in and out.

There’s no terminal shuttle and no marked walking path from the Cell Phone Lot, reinforcing that it’s for drivers only, not self-park. Keep the engine ready, keep your phone handy for live arrival updates, and only roll toward the terminal when your pickup is actually outside. One last tip: set a reminder for your own timing so you don’t drift into anything that could be interpreted as an overnight stay.
